Choose your involvement with our community at Rose Lodge Care Home in Exmouth Devon, from a couple hours a week to living here full time.

Many people feel they would like to live at their home for as long as possible and this sometimes means they become isolated and do not know about the many activities and friendships that are on offer in a home such as Rose lodge. Our Social Club, Day Care, and Respite services provide a natural and gradual way for people to discover and explore a community that can help them maintain their independence and remain active, and they can choose the level of involvement that is right for them from time to time.

Our Social Club invites people in the community to join us for one or two hours a week, typically focused around an activity that they particularly enjoy. This can work well for people who are largely independent, active, and sociable. This can also help to give relief a home carer for a few hours each week.

Our Day Care service enables people with dementia to join the community for one or more regular days a week, make new friends, and join in the various activities at Rose Lodge. We can collect and drop off day care residents in our Rosemobile which is able to transport people who use a wheelchair.

Respite Care is an extension of our day care service where people can stay with us for one or more weeks, both days and nights. As this requires a bedroom we offer this service as and when when we have a room available, and we give priority to people already enjoying our Social Club or Day Care Service.

Residential Care is where residents live at Rose Lodge full time. We think it is much better for people to make a positive decision to join and so we encourage people to try our other services beforehand, or to come for a free trial day.

If you would like to discuss any of these services then please call the Manager Karen Bousher on 01395 2270171 to arrange a visit to Rose Lodge, or use the contact page to send us a message.
